Accepting these terms
This site is run by Benvenuti Global Logistics LLC (BGL, we, us), a non-asset freight forwarder based in Scottsdale, Arizona that arranges pickup and delivery worldwide. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We wrote them in ordinary English so they can be read.
What this site is for
The guides, calculators, checklists and examples here are general information and planning estimates. They are not a quote, not an offer, and not legal, customs or tax advice. They are not a substitute for a licensed customs broker, an attorney or an accountant, and reading them does not create a professional relationship of any kind.
The free tools give you a rough picture so you can plan a budget and a schedule. They do not classify your goods, set your duty rate or tell you what you owe. An HTS classification, a duty rate and an entry come from a licensed customs broker. BGL is not a customs broker and does not file entries itself.
Where the site quotes a government rule, a fee or a deadline, we name the source and the date we checked it. Rules change, sometimes quickly. Check the current rule with the agency that publishes it before you rely on it.
Transit times and estimates
Any transit figures on the site are typical ranges, not promises. Real timing moves with the season, the carrier, the port, the weather, equipment availability and customs. Cost figures are planning estimates for the same reason. Your timing and your price come from the quote we write for you, and even then a schedule is the carrier's, not ours.
Quotes and shipments
A quote is binding only when BGL provides it to you in writing, for the cargo and dates you described, and only while the quote says it is valid. Nothing on this site is a quote: not a calculator result, not a sample quote, not a chart, not a range in a guide, and not an email that only estimates.
When you book, the shipment is handled under the written terms we provide with that quote, together with the carrier's own bill of lading or air waybill. Those documents control the shipment, including liability limits, claim deadlines and how charges such as storage or detention are handled. If anything on this website conflicts with the written terms provided with your quote, the written terms come first.
Cargo insurance is separate and optional. We explain the options, what a policy excludes and what it costs, so you can decide before the goods move. We do not promise a claim outcome.
What BGL is, and where our registrations stand
BGL is non-asset. We do not own ships, planes, trucks or warehouses. We arrange transport, buy space from carriers, and work with agents, carriers and a licensed customs broker who hold their own authority for the work they do. Your quote names the licensed carrier or partner handling each leg.
Our registration status is shown on the home page and updated as each one issues. As of the date on this page: our Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC) is BGBA, issued August 2026, our FMCSA broker authority is an application in progress, and our FMC registration as an ocean transportation intermediary is an application in progress. Customs entry is coordinated with a licensed customs broker. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim that BGL holds an authority or a license that has not been granted to it.
Using this site
Use the site for your own business purposes. Please do not:
- use it to break the law, or to plan a shipment that would
- copy the site, a guide or a tool to republish it somewhere else
- scrape or crawl it at a rate that burdens it, or harvest addresses from it to send unsolicited email
- try to reach any part of the site that is not open to the public, or interfere with how it runs
- submit information through a form that is not yours to share, or send anything harmful through one
- present the site, or anything taken from it, as your own
If the site is being misused we can limit or block access to it.
Links and live headlines
The industry updates on the home page are pulled live from outside sources, including the Federal Register, gCaptain and FreightWaves, and the site links out to government and industry pages. We do not write, control, check or endorse what is on those pages, and a headline showing up here is not our view of it. If a source goes down or changes what it publishes, that section may be empty or out of date. Follow a link and you are on someone else's site under someone else's terms.
Our name and our content
The BGL and Benvenuti Global Logistics names, the logo, and the text, layout, tools and images on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to read the site, print a page for your own use, and quote a short passage with credit and a link back. Please do not copy a guide, a tool or the design, in whole or in large part, for your own site or product without asking first. Ask at info@bglfreight.com. We usually say yes to a quote and a link.
No warranties
We put real work into keeping this site correct and current, and we still cannot promise that it is. The site and everything on it is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non infringement. We do not promise that the site will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that a figure taken from a government source is still current on the day you read it.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, BGL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost business or lost data, arising from your use of this site or from relying on something published on it. Our total liability connected with the site is limited to one hundred dollars.
This section is about the website only. Liability for a shipment we handle is set by the written terms provided with your quote and by the carrier's contract of carriage, not by this paragraph. Some places do not allow these limits. Where that is the case, this section applies as far as the law allows and no further.
Nothing here creates a relationship on its own
Reading the site, running a calculator or sending a form does not make BGL your freight forwarder, your broker or your agent, and it does not create a contract of carriage or a booking. That begins when we agree in writing on a quote and you confirm the booking. Sending a form does not oblige us to take your shipment, and we can decline cargo.
Arizona law and where disputes go
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about this site or these terms belongs in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and we both agree to those courts. If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the company grows, as our registrations issue, or as the site changes. The effective date at the top tells you which version you are reading. If you keep using the site after a change, that is your acceptance of the version posted that day. If a change matters, such as one about liability or quotes, we will make it plain rather than bury it.
